It is perfectly OK to store logs in your garage, as long as they are already dry.

Do not keep logs that are either freshly cut or partially seasoned in your garage, because there will not be a sufficient airflow to dry them out.

As a result, they will release their moisture and mould spores will start to quickly appear on items during warm conditions.

It is a different story with logs that are very dry and therefore ready to burn, such as our kiln dried log, which can be kept in garages without any problems.

The best way to keep logs in the garage is to ensure they don’t touch the floor, which can become damp.

So, all in all, we strongly recommend that you store kiln dried logs in the garage if practically possible.
